WINTER WONDERLAND

Lech is one of the prettiest alpine towns you will ever see. This fairytale-like spot with a steeple-topped church and bubbling river running through it dividing the boutiques and shops on one side and the ski slopes on the other is an Instagrammer’s fantasy. Climb aboard a horse-drawn sleigh for a ride to the nearby village of Zug, warming your knees under blankets. With the jingling of the bridles and the rhythmic clippity-clop of the horses’ hooves, zooming past families cross-country skiing, jingling through forests that are as mesmerising as the white peaks surrounding this wonderland, it is a heavenly experience in what is a sublime place.
