SENDERS AT THE SEASIDE

-

Not far from the quaint Cornish fishing port of Par, exciting things are afoot for airtime junkies. Nestled in the gently rolling countryside is Woody’s Bike Park – a new playground of pristine arcing berms and more jumps than you can shake a stick at, which will open this summer.

Ex-freestyle motocross rider and Fest Series nutcase Jasper Flashman is the guy responsible for bringing the trails to life, and he’s pretty much been living behind the controls of his digger for the past six months to do it. His crew have shifted a seriously large amount of dirt, and they’ve more than made up for what the site lacks in gradient by packing the hill full of features.

With trail grades ranging from blue through to double black there should be something for everyone here, and there are even some monster 45ft+ senders for those feeling brave. There’s no opening date set just yet, but it’s expected to be at the start of June. For more info, head to www.woodysbikepark.com.
