OneUp Components have a smart take on tool integration. Their EDC system (it’s short for ‘everyday carry’) makes good use of the empty space inside your bike’s tapered steerer tube to house a multi-tool. The headset is preloaded via a threaded top cap with a cassette lockring interface, which requires several rows of threads to be cut into the steerer. The tool includes Allen keys and a chain tool, and holds a spare quick link.
