Flat pedal fans have a lot of shoes to choose from these days, but if these live up to Bonty’s claims of “incredible pedal feel”, they could be onto a winner. Vibram provide the outsole, which combines a squared pattern across most of the foot with zig-zag tread at the toes and heel for off-the-bike traction. On top of that is a shock-absorbing EVA midsole, while the upper is made from synthetic leather, which should make them easy to wipe clean. There’s no lace flap or raised inside ankle cuff, but that does mean they’ll blend in better down the pub. Well, the black versions anyway.
