With the big Bike of the Year test going on, I’ve not had much time to ride my personal bikes over the past couple of months. I did manage to get out to BikePark Wales for the day with some old friends, though, and was really glad I did. It was nice to get back on a bike that I’m really into and ride the same trails I’ve been hammering all of the Bike of the Year contenders on. As well as highlighting to me just how accomplished the G-170 is, it also helped remind me how good the bikes I’ve been testing are, even if they cost a lot less cash. www.whyte.bike
