If you have a compact frame, a side-entry cage like the Sideswipe makes it much easier to carry a bottle with you on your rides. Bontrager’s offering is ambidextrous, thanks to a modular design (which does add weight) that lets you rotate the cage, so you can access your bottle from either the left or right, before bolting it to the base plate and your bike. Getting a bottle in and out was easier than expected, so we were a little worried that the cage might not be secure when things got rough.
