Giant’s Reign has been a rad-riding workhorse since it first appeared, with a radical ‘shock basket’ frame, well over a decade ago. The latest bike sticks with the more conventional shock positioning of recent years but moves to a trunnion-mounted damper with a longer stroke, which gives a significant change in feel. It also gets a broader Boost rear end. Is that enough to tip its previous really good performance to truly great?
