From £43.99 Tyres for getting wild
French tyre giants Michelin have expanded their range to include some enduro-specific front and rear rubber. Their new Wild Enduro tyres have been in development since 2015 and have been designed to cover 80 per cent of all riding conditions. The front tyre pictured here comes in a ‘GUM-X3D’ compound (£43.99) or a harder ‘MAGI-X’ rubber mix (£48.99). Michelin say this delivers better performance when pushed harder, making it ideal for racers, while GUM-X3D provides more grip and stability for less experienced riders. The rear tyre has a tighter-spaced and less aggressive tread pattern, and comes in the GUM-X3D compound only (£43.99). All three options have a reinforced ‘Gravity Shield’ casing to prevent pinching. Our sample weighs 1,136g. www.hotlines-uk.com
