VERDICT

The scale of Afan is hard to beat and you’ll need at least a weekend to ride it all. Along the way, you’re sure to find lots to love about the place. The trails hold up well in all conditions and there are options to suit all abilities. While the older routes have a natural feel, it does take a little effort to find flow on some of the less steep tracks. There are also fireroad sections on some of the routes.
