DiscoBrakes Kevlar brake pads £7.68 (pair)

-

DiscoBrakes have pads for nearly every brand and model of brake out there. They offer loads of different compounds, including ceramic, copper-free and the Kevlar option seen here. We’ve been running these in a set of Magura MT Trail brakes for a couple of months now and they’ve proven smooth and consistent. They don’t feel overly grabby or wooden, and seem just as powerful as the stock pads they replaced. Even after being on the bike for twice as many miles as we’d normally expect, they still have plenty of wear left in them. If they cost the standard £15-£20 for new pads we’d be happy with the result, but for less than £8 they’re great value for money too. Even better, there are bulk deals to be had on buying multiple sets, making it worthwhile to stock up. Russell www.discobrakes.com
