“I was a reader of MBUK while at school and bought every single issue. The team had a massive presence at the races, I always looked up to them, so to be given my first professional contract with MBUK Santa Cruz in 2005 was an enormous honour for me. I landed my first World Cup podium finish at Mont-Sainte-Anne that year and my first World Cup win at Vigo in 2007.

“Our team launch trip to San Francisco in 2006 was a standout. We toured the city, visited Santa Cruz HQ, met loads of the top freeride guys at the time and enjoyed evening dirt jump sessions at the iconic Post O ce Jumps. We also visited Fox suspension and tested with them at Santa Barbara.

“Nowadays, I’m an ambassador for Evil Bikes. I was lucky enough to be involved in the launch of their revamped The Following trail bike in Sintra, Portugal. Alongside that, I race events that take my fancy, as well as doing some edits and social media content.”
