We take a fond look back at the mag’s rich racing history

-

Like many others, we’re missing the excitement of the race season. We’re going to have to wait a little longer though, with the first World Cup and next Enduro World Series round now postponed until the autumn. So we thought we’d look back to a time when MBUK fielded a team on the world stage and catch up with a few of our most successful racers, to find out what it was like to ride for MBUK and what they’re up to now. The riders here are some of those who enjoyed the most glory on the national and even world stage while actually wearing the MBUK jersey. Plenty of others went on to big things, including the late, great Jason McRoy (MBUK Salsa, 1992), the first UK rider to sign with an international factory team; Danny Hart (MBUK Scott, 2004), winner of two DH World Championships; and Rob Warner (MBUK GT, 1994), Britain’s first World Cup winner and now the man on the mic for Red Bull.
