A NUMBERS GAME

Radon got the geometry pretty dialled on the Swoop 170. This made it fun to ride, and an easy bike to go fast on.

DEVIL’S IN THE DETAIL

The 9.0 was race-ready out of the box. With its Fox Performance Elite fork, shock and dropper post, SRAM GX Eagle gears and Code R brakes, and DT Swiss E 1700 wheels, there was nothing for me to change, except for setting up the tyres tubeless and sticking my favourite grips on.

SIMPLE IS BETTER

Details such as external brake hose routing, space for a water bottle, a simple flip-chip design and a threaded bottom bracket shell made riding and working on this bike that bit easier.
