THE TROOPING THE COLOUR FESTIVITIES ONLY HIGHLIGHTED HOW IMPORTANT FAMILY IS TO THE DUCHESS

-

Prince George and little Princess Charlotte are fast becoming quite the royal attention stealers!

Following on from their adorable appearance at Aunt Pippa’s recent wedding, the royal tots once again stole the show at the Trooping the Colour ceremony in celebration of the Queen’s 91st birthday.

As the entire royal family – including the Queen, Prince Philip, Prince Charles, Prince Harry, Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge – assembled on the balcony of Buckingham Palace to watch the traditional flypast, George and Charlotte delighted the crowds with some seriously cute facial expressions.

While Charlotte – dressed in a pretty pink frock to match Kate’s stunning Alexander Mcqueen dress – appeared transfixed by the pomp and ceremony, giggling and waving enthusiastically at the crowd, it was a different story for her brother.

The nearly four-year-old pulled some classic faces, at times appearing particularly unimpressed as he leaned on the edge of the balcony.

And while the centuries-old tradition – which sees 1400 troops from the Queen’s personal division, 400 musicians and 200 horses parade from Buckingham Palace down the Mall – marked a momentous occasion for the Queen, the day held extra special importance for broody Kate Middleton.

According to royal sources, watching her children light up on the special day only served to cement Kate’s need to expand her family.

‘Seeing how happy her children were to be around their family and the festivities only made Kate’s desire for further kids stronger. It’s now her mission to add to the family as soon as possible,’ an insider spills.
