QMy husband says he doesn’t love me anymore, but that we may be able to start over after some time apart. Things haven’t been good for a couple of years, and a while ago he asked me to make changes. I did, but he said it was too late. Do I give him time to realise we can get back on track, or move on?

AYour husband has put the guilts on you – that’s not very loving! He’s calling all the shots, which does not make for a happy marriage. The bottom line is, he says he doesn’t love you anymore. At his request you made changes, but he said it was too late. You could give him time to realise he wants the marriage back on track, but don’t hold your breath. It’s time to get on with life.

TIME TO LIFT HIS GAME
QMy boss asked me to mentor her nephew, who’s just joined our company. When she’s around he’s enthusiastic, but when she’s not he shows no interest. He’s always on his phone instead of doing the tasks I’ve set him. How do I tell my boss?

AThis young man’s aunt may be the boss, but that doesn’t give him the right to take advantage of his position. Tell him he needs to take the job seriously or you’ll report him. Ban playing on his phone at work. You’re in the right and hopefully the boss will back you.
