Pink grows her family!

-

She’s made no secret of the fact that she’d love a house brimming with children – and it looks like that dream’s finally about to come true for Pink.

The hugely popular singer has announced plans to adopt baby number three, telling friends that she and husband Carey Hart are moving heaven and earth to welcome a new addition to the family by the end of the year.

The couple – who are already parents to daughter Willow, six, and son Jameson, eight months – are looking to adopt a little boy from Haiti, giving their new adopted child a world where he’ll want for nothing, especially love.

It’s believed that Pink, 37, and Carey, 42, have discussed adopting from Haiti – which was ravaged by an earthquake in 2010, leaving 1.6 million people homeless – since she became an ambassador for UNICEF in 2015.

‘Pink wants to meet with agents helping find adoptive families for kids in Haiti,’ New Idea’s source reveals. ‘She visited a couple of years ago in an official capacity and fell in love with those adorable children.’

Pink explained how her trip to Haiti inspired her, saying: ‘The fire was lit because I’m a mamma... Kids are so resilient. I sat with this little four or five-year-old, and she just held her hands on my face and sang to me.

‘She’s living in a one-room shack with her entire family and hardly any food, and she’s taking the time to sit and sing with me. The kids give me the most hope.’

It’s believed Carey and Pink have already told their

daughter Willow that she could soon have another baby sibling. ‘But she knows that this time, instead of coming from Mummy’s tummy, he’s going to be brought to them from a long way away,’ says a source. ‘Pink’s trying to whip up the excitement for Willow, who did find it unsettling to all of a sudden have to share Pink and Carey with a baby brother after six years of having them to herself. ‘Pink knows it might be tricky integrating an adopted child into their family, but she’ll take it in her stride.’ In 2013, Pink openly announced she ‘would like to have five’ kids, but has also been very open about her battles with fertility and how it had been an emotional roller-coaster falling pregnant with her firstborn. ‘I was just really nervous,’ she admitted in an interview with Ellen Degeneres. ‘I have had a miscarriage before. I worked for [it]. This was not an “oops” moment.’ Adds an insider close to the Hart household: ‘Willow and Jameson are Pink’s pride and joy, but she went through hell to have them. She can’t bear the thought of putting her body through rigorous rounds of IVF all over again. ‘Pink knows that at 37 and already reproductively challenged, the window for another pregnancy is closing rapidly. And obviously the thought of suffering another miscarriage is a horrible thought for any mother.’

Now that their little boy Jameson is past the tricky newborn stage, sources say Pink and Carey – who’ve been married for 11 years – are ready to adopt and add to their brood.

‘They decided to see how they would cope with two kids after Jameson was born, but Pink’s taken to it perfectly,’ says the source. ‘She’s never been one to sweat the small stuff, so she even had the whole family join her on tour this year.

‘She was openly breastpumping before going on stage without a care in the world. She’s not fazed at all about being mum to one more.’
