Delta & Fifi’s TWO BABIES

Two celebs, two bubs: shock miracle news will leave fans stunned!

-

They’re two of Australia’s favourite stars – and they’re both set to hear the pitter-patter of tiny feet very soon!

Well-placed sources tell New Idea that Fifi Box and Delta Goodrem are hoping to fall pregnant in the coming months, desperate to make their baby dreams come true.

Both stars have made no secret of their desire to have children, with Delta proclaiming that she’s ‘definitely looking forward to that chapter in my life’, while Fifi has been open about how ‘motherhood is in my soul’.

And now it seems their fans could be celebrating the ‘double joy’ baby news sooner rather than later.

‘The Aussie showbiz industry is buzzing that Delta and Fifi are both gearing up to welcome babies into their lives,’ says an industry insider. ‘There are pregnancy rumours flying for both of them – we’re guessing it’s only a matter of time before they make announcements.’

It’s believed mum-of-one Fifi is ‘totally in love’ with her Neighbours co-star boyfriend Damien Richardson, 48, and thinks he’s the perfect man to have a baby with.

The radio and TV star has been open about the joy that four-year-old Trixie – her daughter with former ironman champ Grant Kenny – has brought to her life, and how having children is a ‘blessing’.

‘I’m at a stage in my life where I feel like I’ve achieved all the things that I set out to achieve,’ Fifi told Show + Tell.

‘Motherhood was always a challenge that I hoped would come along one day and I looked forward to, and to me... it’s in my soul. I’ve always felt it would be very natural, and I’ve always felt maternal anyway.’

Fifi revealed her long-held dream of becoming a mother during her pregnancy with Trixie, revealing in a Sunday magazine column: ‘After a lifetime of yearning to be a mum – from pushing around Cabbage Patch Kids in toy prams at the age of four to feeling an envious tug in my heart as friends had children – I’ve finally been granted the most precious gift of all.’

And now she looks set to finally welcome another baby into her life with her boyfriend of almost a year, Damien. The Aussie actor – who’s starred in a raft of local TV favourites – already has three children with his estranged wife Nicole, and it’s that doting paternal side that’s really won Fifi over.

‘During their recent holiday to Bali, Fifi saw Damien playing nonstop with Trixie and it really tugged at her heartstrings,’ says a friend of the 40-year-old star.

‘Damien also brought his own daughter on the trip, and Fifi loved watching him as a dad. He’s a natural, and all the kids love him – she knows he’ll be the perfect dad to her next baby. It’s only a matter of time in her eyes.’

Delta, meanwhile, is feeling just as broody. The 32-year-old singer and actress has spoken openly of her desire to become a mum – and with her TV series House Husbands recently being canned, it seems the time is finally right to make her baby dream come true.

‘Delta’s schedule is wide open and she’s decided that now’s the time to become a mum,’ says a friend of the star. ‘She’s spent the last few weeks in LA doing some soul searching, and every time she thinks about her future, it always comes back to wanting a baby. So whether she has a baby with her on-off lover Seal

‘Motherhood was always a challenge that I hoped would come along one day’

or goes it alone, Delta won’t stop at anything.’

The friend reveals Delta has also been inspired by the pregnancy announcement from fellow soap star Tessa James, who suffered a similar form of cancer as she did.

‘Delta has long been unsure as to whether she’d be able to fall pregnant and just like Tessa, she didn’t have time to freeze her eggs before starting treatment,’ says a source. ‘But Tessa’s pregnancy news has given her enormous hope and she’s now keen to try for a baby.

‘Delta’s hoping 2018 is the year she welcomes her first baby.’
