Spiced Seed and Nut Mix
Makes 1 cup, Prep 5 mins, Cook 10 mins
1/ cup slivered almonds 3 1/ cup pepita and sunflower 3 seeds 1 tblsp sesame seeds 1/ cup pine nuts
3 1 tsp ground cumin ½ tsp mild curry powder 1 tblsp soy sauce 1 tblsp maple syrup
1 Place almonds, seeds, nuts, cumin and curry powder in a bowl. Mix well. Add sauce and syrup. Stir until coated. Spread over an oven tray lined with baking paper. 2 Cook in a moderately slow oven (160C), stirring halfway through, for about 10 minutes. Remove. 3 Cool mix on tray. Store in an airtight jar.
