Bindi Irwin has revealed that boyfriend Chandler Powell is ‘the one’, opening up about their fairytale romance in an emotional new tell-all. ‘I’m lucky, very lucky,’ Bindi, 19, told The Australian Women’s Weekly. ‘I’m lucky I have found the one, the person I want to spend all my time with. We’re both lucky to have found that person, because that doesn’t always happen for people and we’re still so young.’ Revealing that she thinks her late dad Steve ‘would have loved Chandler’, Bindi tells of the old-fashioned way she began dating Chandler – with him asking for her mum Terri’s permission in a letter!

‘Mum came in and said: “Who is this? Is this real?”’ recalls Bindi. ‘However, in the end, it was so lovely that she thought I should follow it up, and I did. And I’m glad I did.’

Since meeting in 2015, the young couple have made no secret of their deep affection – regularly taking to social media to share their feelings.

In one recent loved-up post, Bindi revealed a sweet shot of her Chandler with the caption: ‘My love. Today, tomorrow, always.’

Chandler, meanwhile, took to Twitter to share a snap of himself snuggling into Bindi, with the comment: ‘These are the moments you wish that you could just press “pause” and hold on to forever. These hugs mean everything to me.’

What a sweet thing for him to say to her!
