Who will outwit, outlast and outplay? While it may not be the highest rating show, hundreds of thousands of devoted fans have been desperately waiting for this moment – the final of Australian Survivor. The extra-long concluding episode will be followed by a reunion special filmed in Sydney.

The finale opens with the final three waking up nervous and excited ahead of their final immunity challenge.

The winner will get the ultimate advantage – deciding who they want to take through to the final Tribal Council, giving themselves the best chance at winning the title of sole survivor and $500,000 in prize money.

The epic hand-on-idol challenge returns and survivors must perch atop pegs with one hand touching the idol – but this year, the final challenge is held at night in the dark, with the powerful waves continually crashing into the contestants as the tide rises.

After a marathon challenge, one contestant is left standing. Who will it be? Who will be this year’s final victor?

The final two will face the Tribal Council one last time to answer some grilling questions from a jury of contestants they betrayed, and they’ll have to sell their pitch on why they should become the sole survivor for 2017.

The votes will be cast and the survivors will travel to Sydney where the winner is announced.

Australian Survivor host Jonathan Lapaglia will read out the final votes.
