THE JILTED GROOM IS BACK FOR A SECOND CHANCE AT LOVE

After lovable John Robertson left last season’s Married

At First Sight a disheartened single man, it seems the father-of-two has been given another chance.

According to sources, he’s agreed to take part in the dating experiment for a second time, recently walking down the aisle and into the arms of a stunning blonde on their wedding day.

And while he was initially reluctant to put his heart on the line again after things fell apart with TV show ‘wife’ Debbie, it was his daughters who convinced him to give it another go.

‘Going on national TV was a big deal for him,’ a friend tells. ‘And when it didn’t exactly go to plan the first time around, he certainly wasn’t eager to go on again.’

During the first season, Debbie had been outspoken about her dislike of John and her desire for a ‘Polynesian man’. The pair called it quits before the show had even ended, with John wishing his bohemian ex well with her future.

But it was Debbie’s loss, with ladies lining up to date the handsome baby boomer. Yet despite the attention, John soon found himself single again.

‘He went on a couple of dates,’ says a pal. ‘But people kept asking him about the show and what he really thought of Deb. It was a bit awkward, really.’
