Widowed mum-ofthree Pat says it’s been her lifelong dream to go on MKR with Louisa. ‘This was my idea, as it was an item on my bucket list,’ she says.

MATT & ALY SWEETHEARTS, QLD

Matt and Aly are a ‘very upbeat couple’, adding: ‘We see the good in situations and bring a bit of humour.’

GEORGIE & ALICIA SISTERS, NSW

Alicia describes herself as ambitious and says she has ‘low patience for stupidity and poor manners’ – a trait that’s balanced out by her sister. ‘I’m very chilled by nature and calm under pressure,’ Georgie says.

OLGA & VALERIA FRIENDS, NSW

They’ve made a name for themselves as the first Russian team on MKR. ‘Valeria and I muck around and create havoc,’ Olga says.

SONYA & HADIL FRIENDS, NSW

Sonya and Hadil work in the fashion and beauty industry, and take as much pride in their appearance as they do in their cooking!

DAN & GEMMA IN-LAWS, SA

Gemma believes she and Dan – her sister’s partner – are the ‘complete team’. ‘It was my idea to sign up,’ she says. ‘Dan is a good cook.’

DAVIDE & MARCO MATES, WA

Italian besties Davide and Marco are excited to be on MKR – thanks to Davide’s mum! ‘Davide’s mum suggested going on MKR, as we are both good cooks,’ Marco says. Adds Davide: ‘You can expect banter, laughs and bad puns.’
