AN ALIEN SAVED MY LIFE! S

IN A MEDICAL EMERGENCY, GEMMA FOUND HELP FROM AN UNLIKELY SOURCE

- By Keeley Henderson

itting in bed with her heart racing and fighting for every breath, Brisbane scientist Gemma Regan knew she was in a very bad way. After a nasty fall last year which left Gemma with an ankle injury, she was confined to a wheelchair for seven weeks and developed a blood clot in her right leg. A scan revealed parts of the clot had broken off and become stuck in her lungs – a life threatening complication called a pulmonary embolism. Apart from the bloodthinning medication she was already taking, sleep scientist Gemma says there was little the doctors could do – so she was allowed to go home under the supervision of her family. However, at home in bed one night in May last year, Gemma suddenly felt herself deteriorating rapidly. ‘I was really struggling. My heart was racing very fast as if I was doing extremely heavy exercise and all I was doing was sitting in bed. ‘I was sweating and shivering. I could feel that I was dying,’ Gemma tells New Idea. The mum-of-three begged out-loud for someone – or something – to help her. The next moment, she blacked out. Describing what happened next, Gemma says she had a ‘dream-type experience’. ‘I was in this big black room – it looked like the foyer of an auditorium. There was this giant, white female humanoid about eight or nine feet tall, with long, blonde hair. ‘She was very, very thin and wearing a white robe – what people would consider to be an angelic figure,’ she recalls.

Gemma – who investigates the paranormal and supernatural in her spare time – recognised her as a ‘tall white’, a type of alien that’s quite commonly seen.

Gemma then recalls floating on a chair through a set of big, black doors to a huge auditorium, where thousands of beings, humans, animals and otherworldly forms, were waiting.

‘There was a massive screen at the front and it was showing lots of things that had happened to me throughout my life.

‘Straight away I recognised that this was the “life review,’’’ she says.

Gemma explains this is what happens just before people die – many who’ve had a near-death experience talk about it.

‘People consider it to be weighing the value of that life you’ve experienced,’ she says.

‘The chair floated to the very front. They were waiting for me to talk and review my life.

‘I shielded my eyes and said: “I am not doing this, I am not going to die!”’

Suddenly, her chair flew backwards, back through the doors which slammed shut.

Gemma says she was then left facing the tall white alien again.

‘She turned around to face me, she had opalescent skin and almond-shaped blue eyes. She was talking to me with telepathy and said: “We are here for you.”

‘Then she put this metal headset on me with this ball on the end which was the size of a large marble.

‘She put this metal in my mouth, it was a strange metal, not shiny, it was almost like mercury and it tasted like aniseed. Straight away I took it out and said: “No, no, no.”

‘With telepathy she said: “We are here to heal you.” She put it back in my mouth and suddenly I felt all of these hands and this sort of big warmth around me.

‘The next thing I know I’m awake again. Suddenly I realised I could breathe absolutely fine. My heart was normal, everything was normal. I felt great. Even my leg felt good.’

Gemma felt completely healed and a few hours later she went for a scan which left the sonographer stunned.

‘She couldn’t find anything. She scanned my leg again, couldn’t find anything. I explained I had pulmonary embolisms, and suggested maybe all of the clot had come into my chest.

‘But she said: “Oh no, if it was that much, you would have definitely known about it. There is nothing there, it’s miraculous, it’s amazing!”’

When a doctor read the report, he was also astounded.

Gemma, who has a PHD in biological anthropology, told the doctor about her alien theory.

‘He told me he couldn’t make a judgement, but it’s about the only thing that could explain what happened.

‘It should have taken about six months for the clot to go on the drugs I was on, but it had disappeared. Maybe I self-healed using alien manifestation, but I do feel it was some sort of real intervention.

‘That experience saved my life!’
