Kylie turns 50 – and finds love

She’s the pop princess with a famously chequered romantic history and a penchant for troubled toy boys. But Kylie Minogue used her star-studded 50th birthday celebrations to announce to the world that, after years of heartache, she’s finally found love again.
Following weeks of romance rumours, Kylie delighted fans by sharing a loved-up snap with new beau Paul Solomons from the night’s festivities.
However, with whispers abounding that the tall, dark and handsome British GQ executive is not quite the knight in shining armour that Kylie deserves, is Australia’s sweetheart about to get her heart broken by yet another player?
While 43-year-old Paul is certainly more age appropriate for the singer – whose last relationship was with 30-yearold Joshua Sasse – friends close to Kylie, who turned 50 on May 28, are concerned that the mysterious creative director is a secret ladies’ man.
Well known among the British party set, in the past Paul has been linked to Bella Hadid, Cara Delevingne and Lana Del Rey – posing with the latter for a seriously raunchy GQ shoot in 2012, in which he appeared to grope one of the singer’s breasts.
All bad news for Kylie, who has a track record of falling too hard and too fast for men. She’s previously dated bad boys Michael Hutchence, Olivier Martinez and British model James Gooding, before being left ‘broken’ by ex-fiance Joshua last year after he allegedly had an affair with Spanish actress Marta Milans.
But for now, it looks like Kylie is head over heels for her new man, after reportedly being introduced by mutual friends back in February.
‘Kylie is in no rush to get into a serious relationship, but she’s certainly enjoying the attention,’ a source told The Sun.
‘It’s no secret she was left feeling very bruised and vulnerable after her break-up [with Joshua].
‘She needed time by herself to get over it. Now she feels ready to move on.’
So, could Paul be The One?
