Hubby’s affair exposed in the ER!

WHEN BIANCA’S HUSBAND FELL ILL, IT WAS JUST THE START OF A NIGHTMARE

- By Chantelle Rees

Bianca John had just booked a dream trip when she met the man she’d end up marrying. The 25-year-old was due to head from the UK to Australia and Asia for a year when she received a message on Tinder from Adam Ledner, 34.

‘I instantly fancied him from his profile picture,’ Bianca reveals to New Idea.

‘As we chatted, I felt drawn to his cheeky personality.

‘When we met up for a drink in September 2014, Adam was even better in the flesh and we agreed to meet again.

‘I told him I was leaving to go travelling, and although he was disappointed he seemed excited for me. I was gutted to be leaving just as things were starting between us, but I didn’t really have time for a serious relationship anyway. So in November 2014 I jetted off to start my adventure.’

Bianca kept in touch with Adam, and a few months later he surprised her by flying out to join her.

The thrill of being on the other side of the world added to the romance of it all.

In November 2015 the pair got to Thailand and Adam proposed, after writing ‘Marry Me?’ in candles on the floor of their hotel room.

‘I said yes straight away,’ Bianca says. ‘Adam was romantic, kind and generous.’

A month later, in December 2015, Bianca had another surprise – she was pregnant.

‘It wasn’t planned, but as we talked about the pros and cons of starting a family, we both realised we were happy about the prospect of having a baby together,’ she explains.

‘We decided to fly home for Christmas, where we excitedly told our families the news. We moved in together and I threw myself into turning it into a home fit for our growing family. It may have been a whirlwind romance, but I was so in love with Adam, I didn’t care.’

In April 2016 Bianca was seven months pregnant when she and Adam tied the knot.

The couple’s beautiful boy, Brock, came along two months later in June 2016.

But Adam soon became distant from Bianca, blaming a fitness competition they’d both signed up to.

‘I just assumed everything would return to normal after the competition in September 2017,’ Bianca says.

‘But I couldn’t have been more wrong. A few weeks after the event, I was at the gym when Adam phoned me, sounding strange. He said he felt really ill.

‘I called emergency and sped home. The paramedics arrived at the same time as me and we found Adam slumped on the sofa, white as a sheet and barely conscious.

‘Medics explained the competition had placed severe strain on Adam’s body and he was rushed to intensive care with an enlarged heart. I sat in the waiting room in shock.’

As Bianca anxiously waited, she absent-mindedly looked at Adam’s phone and noticed a Whatsapp message on the screen. Curiosity got the better of her and she saw a conversation which made the bile rise in her throat.

‘My husband had been bragging to his mates about

‘MY WORLD COLLAPSED... MY LOVE RAT HUSBAND WAS IN INTENSIVE CARE DYING – AND LYING...’

being intimate with another woman multiple times,’ she recalls. ‘My world collapsed in that moment.

‘My love-rat husband was in intensive care dying – and lying at the same time. I’ve never felt more betrayed.

‘I decided to message the other woman from Adam’s phone. I told her that he was in hospital and that I knew all about her and him.

‘To my horror, she replied to say she was on her way to visit him, even though doctors wouldn’t let her in. I couldn’t believe how brazen she was!

‘As soon as they told me Adam was out of the woods, I threw all his things in his car and dropped his keys off with the nurses.

‘When he came round, he admitted he’d been having an affair for the past five months after meeting this woman on a stag do. I was devastated, and knew I’d never forgive him.

‘We are now separated, although thankfully Adam is still fully involved in Brock’s life. As far as I’m concerned I’m far better off without him.

‘That text in the hospital waiting room ended my marriage but I’m glad I saw it – otherwise I may never have discovered the truth.

‘I’m just glad I’m rid of that rat for good.’
