BROOKE'S NEXT YEAR’S BACHELORETTE!

-

She won hearts across Australia after receiving the first- ever key to the Bachelor pad and, while the reality dating show may be in its final week, this won’t be the last we see of Brooke Blurton. According to our well-placed spies, New Idea can reveal Brooke is tipped to be next year’s Bachelorette with negotiations currently underway to secure the WA native. And sources say it’ll be a season with a huge twist. “If she gives them the go ahead, they want to cast both males and females,” says the spy. “That’s a game- changer for Australian television and it’s going to get fans talking, so the network bosses see it as a ratings success.” At 23 years old, Brooke has more than proved herself this season. “They could see Brooke wasn’t the usual type of girl applying for the show,” says the spy. “She is articulate, confident and clearly not there to grow her social media followers like so many others, so it made sense she should have a bigger part on television.” And despite having reservations to begin with, Brooke is apparently warming to the idea of a second chance at finding love. “It’snot something she’s taking lightly,” says the spy. “She’s had a taste of how much pressure there would be on her, but mixing up the show and having both sexes involved is a good idea because she knows it’s going to get people talking, hopefully in a positive way.” Yet to sign the final paperwork, producers believe it’s only a matter of time. “Shows like this are not really [what] Brooke’s into,” says the insider. [Producers] knew she was never going to be the last girl with Nick, but wanted to use the time as a screen test. They’ve seen fans like her, and how supportive everyone was of her admitting she was bisexual.” A Network Ten spokesperson said: “Casting for the next Bachelorette has not yet commenced.”
