Camping without any parental permission at the deserted River Boy hideout in nearby Mangrove River, the teens of Summer Bay are having the time of their lives. That is, until a freak accident places more than one life in danger.

In must-watch scenes, Ryder (Lukas Radovich) talks Raffy (Olivia Deeble) and Coco (Anna Cocquerel) into going on an adventure at what they’ve dubbed the haunted house.

After calling in their excuses to their guardians for why they won’t be home until the next day, the teens settle in for their secret adventure at the eerie hideaway.

But nothing could prepare the young friends for the tragic turn of events that unfolds the next morning.

As the trio attempt to leave the house through a hidden escape tunnel in the basement, fun suddenly turns to terror.

The tunnel gives way, leaving an unconscious Raffy cut off from her friends behind a wall of rubble and debris.

“They’re walking through this tunnel on their way out,” reveals Olivia. “Raffy tries to brace herself on what is a rotten bit of timber, but she falls and hits her head, and then the whole tunnel collapses and Raffy is stuck inside.”

Meanwhile, Dean (Patrick O’connor) has a hunch that the missing teens are at the house. And, before long, he has arrived at the derelict property with Colby (Tim Franklin) and Chelsea (Ashleigh Brewer), who are quickly briefed on the unfolding drama.

With debris continuing to fall around a critically injured Raffy inside the tunnel, Chelsea decides there’s only one thing to be done. Without hesitation, she heroically lowers herself into the tunnel from outside.

“Chelsea doesn’t think twice about doing whatever it takes to try and rescue Raffy,” says Ashleigh. “That’s the sort of person she is.”

Will Raffy and Chelsea make it out of the tunnel alive?
