RONAN KEATING ‘MY KIDS LOVE STORM’ ALL TOGETHER NOW PREMIERES SUNDAY AT 7PM

-

After the breakdown of his marriage to Yvonne Connolly back in 2010, Ronan found love again in the arms of the then Storm Uechtritz. Fast forward three years and the couple are more in love than ever.

“I feel very complete as a man, as a person,” Ronan tells New Idea. “I’m very lucky to have found Storm.”

The couple married in a romantic ceremony in Ireland in 2015 and welcomed their first child together, Cooper, in 2017. Ronan also shares three children,

Jack, 20, Missy, 17, and Ali, 13, with his first wife. Becoming a blended family is never easy, but Ronan reveals that Storm loves her role as a stepmother.

“She’s amazing,” he gushes. “She’s fantastic, she’s understanding and she’s strong. The kids love her so it’s perfect.”

And, the kids are over the moon about having a new baby in the family. “It’s been amazing to watch them,” shares Ronan. “There is such a beautiful bond between all four of them. My boy, 20, I’ve never heard him use the word ‘adorable’ in my life until he took Cooper and put him in his hands. It’s that completeness that you feel. Strength, security, knowing they’re all happy together.”

While Ronan has plenty of experience when it comes to raising kids, he admits that Storm is much more of a natural than he is.

“[She has taken to motherhood] like a duck to water,” he says. “She’s been so natural with the whole thing it’s been a pleasure to watch her as a mum. Even though I’ve been there before, we’re learning all the time. I’m the worrier, but she’s like an earth mother – she’s so calm, it’s pretty impressive.”

And, it sounds like the tot is taking after his mother’s calm personality. Ronan also reveals that Cooper has adjusted well to their jetsetting lifestyle.

‘He comes everywhere with us, he adapts really easily,” Ronan says of travelling the globe for work with Cooper in tow. “He has no choice really because it’s what we do. Storm and I have never stopped working. We took about six weeks in total when he was first born and then ever since then we’ve been back out there.”

In fact, Ronan has been in Australia filming the new singing show, All Together Now.

Acting as captain, Ronan will be joined by 99 people from the entertainment industry, in the largest judging panel ever seen on Australian TV. The contestants will try their hand at singing in front of the 100 and the more people that stand up, the higher the score.

If they manage to make it through to the grand final, the contestants will have the chance to battle it out for $100,000.

“It’s a brand-new format entertainment show. There’s no back story, there’s no big drama, they just come out

and sing,” he explains. “A show like this is refreshing, it’s just pure entertainment.”

And, the judge loved working alongside host, Julia Zemiro.

“She’s brilliant and hilarious, we have so much fun working together,” he shares.

This isn’t the first time that the singer has graced Aussie TV screens – he was previously a judge on The X Factor Australia for five years and the country clearly made an impact on him. Ronan, whose wife is Australian, has revealed a move Down Under isn’t off the cards.

“I’d live here absolutely,” he exclaims. “A lot of my career stuff is back in Europe, but if I could do half and half, that would be great. If my kids were a bit older I’d probably spend more time here, but they’re still a bit young and in school in Ireland, so I need to be there.”
