JULIA ZEMIRO MY BEST BODY EVER
ALL TOGETHER NOW AIRS SUNDAY 7PM THE ALL TOGETHER NOW HOST REVEALS HER WEIGHTLOSS SECRET
With a busy career hosting a slew of hit shows including Home Delivery and the all-new singing competition All Together Now, it’s hard to see how Julia Zemiro makes time for staying fit. But the bubbly host has revealed that she is in the best shape of her life – and she did it without setting foot in a gym. In fact, Julia reveals that it was her new role as a host on All Together Now that helped her shed the kilos.
“All the judges are on this huge scaffold, so I was having to run up and down those stairs to talk to them,” she tells New Idea. “I lost half a dress size – it was unbelievable. I didn’t have to do yoga or any morning walks because I was like, I’ll get to work and do my workout.” Usually dressed to the nines for the gig, Julia admits that running up and down the scaffold in her heels was a bit too difficult, even for a pro like her. “I had to change into sneakers on the side,” she laughs. What’s more, with 100 judges on the show, Julia had her work cut out keeping them all in check. “I’ve been hosting now for 12 years on Rockwiz and then on Eurovision. I’m a wrangler,” she jokes. “I’m gentle with people when I need to be and a bit cheeky with them when I have to be … But keeping [the judges] in check was easy, they wanted to be there, they wanted to be entertained.” Of course, she also has Ronan Keating, the captain of The 100, to help her. “I’ve always enjoyed watching him on X Factor – I thought he was a good judge,” she shares. “I’ve always thought he was someone who tries to be constructive.”
And they certainly had a blast filming together. “We shared a makeup room and it was great to hear his stories and jokes,” she says.
“I did do the Irish accent a bit with him. He is probably sick of it but it was fantastic and I was surprised by how funny and open he was.”
