GWYNETH MARRIES BRAD!

-

Gwyneth Paltrow, 46, married Brad Falchuk, 47, in a lavish ceremony in The Hamptons on Sept. 29. Although it’s her second marriage, this was Gwyneth’s first wedding, having eloped with ex Chris Martin. Joining the happy couple were celebrity pals Cameron Diaz, Benji Madden, Robert Downey Jnr and Steven Spielberg.

Gwyneth’s mother Blythe Danner described the affair as “gorgeous”, adding, “It was the most beautiful wedding I have ever seen.”

Close friend Jerry Seinfeld hosted a rehearsal dinner the day before and performed a five-minute stand-up at the party as the guests dined on roast pig. The comedian made jokes about “the fact that he didn’t know most of the people there at his house”.

“It was filled with lengthy tributes to the couple and no shortage of glowing praise for the bride,” an insider explained to Us.

Sources also told People magazine the actress was happy to finally slip into a white dress and

say “I do” in a traditional manner.

Gwyneth has since opened up about how much the big day meant to her. “I think that marriage is a really beautiful, noble and worthwhile institution, pursuit and endeavour,” she candidly told Marie Claire UK.

In fact, the actress revealed that Brad changed her views about marriage. “For a while, I thought, ‘I don’t know if I’d ever do it again. I have my kids – what’s the point?’ And then I met this incredible man, who made me think, ‘No, this person is worth making this commitment to.’ I’m very much the marrying kind. I love being a wife. I love making a home.”
