Rocking a slinky black cocktail dress and showcasing her enviable supermodel physique at the Girlfriend Sugarbaby Model Search in 2000, Tziporah Malkah admits it’s hard to believe that the girl in the picture (far left) is actually her 18 years ago. “Oh my God, I had no idea how gorgeous I was,” Tziporah tells New Idea when we show her the image ahead of our exclusive photo shoot. “I’ll never look like that again,” she adds with a laugh. But it certainly hasn’t stopped the 44-year-old from trying. Today, Tziporah stands tall (1.78m in fact) and proud as she dances around, showing off her slimmer frame and new found body confidence after recently shedding a staggering 22kg. “I feel so much clearer and lighter,” Tziporah declares. “And not just because I’ve lost weight, but also because I’ve been slowly tossing the rocks out of the backpack which has been weighing me down for years.” The former I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! contestant has spent the last month clean eating, exercising and taking part in meditation and hypnotism practices at Little Forest Lifestyle Retreat on the NSW South Coast alongside bestselling author and renowned hypnotist Mark Stephens. “Just not having sugar has been one of the biggest things for me,” Tziporah explains of her diet, which has seen her ditch cola and wine in favour of water and organic teas.

A self-confessed emotional eater, Tziporah, who weighed 118kg when she entered the South African jungle for the reality show in 2017, admits that prior to arriving at the retreat her weight was always fluctuating. In fact, in the past 12 months, she’s lost a total of 30kg.

“I lost 12kg when I was on I’m A Celeb but I put it all back on,” she explains, adding that her diet consisted of lots of carbohydrates – including pastas, pizza and wine.

“I now drink at least 10 glasses of water a day instead of six cans of Diet Coke,” she reveals.

The former fiance of James Packer says her goal is to get down to 73kg – and she’s more determined than ever.

“I’ve been close to my goal numerous times over the years but then something happens in my life, I’d turn to food and then I’m back up there on the scales again,” she explains.

“It was just getting to a point where I was sabotaging myself but this time around it’s different.”

Taking another glimpse at her ‘before’ photo, Tziporah admits behind all the flashing lights and her glamorous smile, she was drowning in self-doubt.

“I would take my measuring cups and spoons to restaurants and would weigh and measure everything,” she reveals.

“I would take a piece of meat off my plate, weigh it on my food scales and then cut it down to the amount it should be. It was programmed so even though I was healthy, it was a prison emotionally.

“I mean I knew I was photogenic, but inside I thought I looked like Shrek.”

In the past, Tziporah has been very open about her breast implants and botox. So would she consider surgery in order to reach her goal weight quicker?

“I’ve had lap band surgery before and it didn’t work for me. I also don’t think it’s going to be necessary now,” she says, adding that her gym-owner boyfriend Justin Green and trainer Sean Jafari have also been instrumental in her most recent transformation.

“As for other procedures, I’ve had laser facial to get rid of some rosacea which I picked up from drinking, but I might consider getting a [breast] lift one day. But for now, I just want to be the most beautiful version of myself.”

And what about a runway comeback?

“Maybe I’ll just launch my own range of bed sheets.”
