MEGHAN’S BABY SCANDAL
Meghan showed off her burgeoning bump as she stepped out for an official engagement at the National Theatre last week. But royal watchers were quick to notice that the duchess’ bump is quite pronounced.
Royal journalist Angela Mollard has suggested this could be a sign the duchess is in fact due a lot earlier than announced.
“She says she’s due at the end of April, but I think there’s a good chance we will see this baby born early April,” Angela says.
“I think she’s actually further along than she’s saying she is, I really do.”
Of course, this could be due to the fact that Meghan and Harry would like to welcome their first child quietly, without the media storm that follows a royal birth.
“If you say that you’re due at the beginning of April, for instance, then you have everyone outside the Lindo wing of the hospital from the 25th of March,” adds Angela.
Given the size of Meghan’s bump, it is also possible that the duchess could be expecting twins. “I think there is the possibility,” says Angela.
“But I would have thought they’d have announced that before now.
“It would be very hard to maintain a conversation saying ‘our baby’ if you knew you were having two.”
