THE MAFS LOVEBIRDS REVEAL THEIR EXCITING FAMILY PLANS
Married At First Sight’s Cam Merchant and Jules Robinson’s reality TV love story has captivated Australia. But for Jules, 37, she’s still surprised it’s happening to her.
“I dated a lot before going on the show,” Jules admits. “I was a walking billboard for [dating app] Bumble. So if it can happen for me, it can happen for anyone – so don’t give up looking for love. I’ve had women say, ‘I’m auditioning [for MAFS] this year because of you!’ which is really lovely.”
The show’s recent homestays were a real turning point for the loved-up couple.
“It was a lovely little taste of what we could have in the future. Because we’re both from Sydney, I was already trying to woo him to my area and all it has to offer,” Jules admits.
“Straight after the homestay, we decided we’ll live in my apartment at the end of the experiment. The experts told us we should stay in the moment and not plan ahead. But Cam and I are planners and are goal orientated.”
And that’s not the only thing Jules and Cam, 34, are planning!
“I want to start trying for a child by the end of the year. That’s what I’m putting out to the universe and I want to make this happen for my life,” she says.
“I’m 37 now and I don’t have time to waste on someone who doesn’t want to have children – I’ve done it once, I’m not doing it again.”
