BEATRICE’S LOVE TRIANGLE!
IS THE PRINCESS’ RELATIONSHIP ALREADY ON THE ROCKS?
While their whirlwind romance has had everyone talking about another royal wedding around the corner, it seems as though Princess Beatrice may have to deal with an ex before she can walk down the aisle.
With her millionaire property developer boyfriend Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi back in contact with his former fiancée and mother of his child, Dara Hung, it looks like Bea may be caught up in a love triangle.
While Beatrice, 30, and Edoardo, 34, have known each other since they were children, it’s said they first started dating in September last year.
But last week, her boyfriend’s attention seemed to be elsewhere, as he was very active on Instagram, liking many of
Dara’s glamorous photos on her social media account.
Before dating the Princess of York, Edoardo was engaged to the successful architect and designer and they had a son together – Christopher (known as Wolfie), now 2.
Sources at the time hinted Edardo was still living with Dara when he moved on with the princess, and news of the couple’s separation came as a shock to the family. Dara’s mum Lily told the Daily Mail: “I think Dara was hiding it from me. She didn’t want me to be sad. I am shocked.”
Despite trying to keep their relationship under wraps in the early days, Edoardo and Beatrice were seen attending the annual Berggruen Prize Gala in New York together in December last year, before ringing in the New Year at his parents’ luxury estate on the exclusive island of Lamu off the coast of Kenya.
In March, this year, the pair publicly confirmed their romance at a red-carpet event in London and have been seen side-by-side at many occasions following this, most recently at Lady Gabriella Windsor and Thomas Kingston’s wedding.
Many sources have hinted that an engagement announcement is around the corner for the couple, with one insider telling The Sun newspaper: “Things are moving very quickly and it wouldn’t surprise anyone if they got engaged within a short period of time.”
The princess is also said to be ready to settle down and start a family.
“Beatrice is desperate to get married as soon as possible and is already trying to fall pregnant,” a source spilled. “She wants a family and doesn’t care if she’s pregnant when they walk down the aisle,” they added.
But Edoardo’s recent online rekindling with his former fiancée could leave the princess – who is ninth in line to the throne – questioning their relationship, and whether her boyfriend has really moved on from his ex.
