Will Lenny Kravitz and Nicole Kidman rekindle their flame?

He has been called one of the ‘sexiest men alive’, so it’s hard to believe singer Lenny Kravitz is unlucky in love. But last week, Nicole Kidman’s former fiancé revealed he was struggling to find a partner.
While the 55-year-old has had a string of romances, including his six-year marriage to Lisa Bonet – who is now married to Aquaman star Jason Momoa – and relationships with singer Vanessa Paradis and model Adriana Lima, he confessed he still hadn’t found The One.
Sources now say that Nicole could be ‘the one who got away’, as the singer is said to be still pining over the actress who he first met back in 2002.
“Lenny has never gotten over Nicole and she will always be the true love of his life, the one that got away,” the source spills.
“He still holds a flame for her and he’s not let go of the dream that they will one day find each other again.”
According to the source,
Lenny is desperate to find love again, and while he knows Nicole is happily married to country singer Keith Urban, he wants to see her again.
With his daughter Zoe – who he shares with ex-wife Lisa – now acting alongside Nicole on the TV series Little Big Lies, he is hoping she will help get the message to the Aussie star.
“He has asked Zoe to reach out to Nicole and see if they can all get together. Zoe and Nicole work together now and Lenny knows it wouldn’t be weird if they were to hang out, the three of them – so there’s no awkwardness or expectation,” the source explains.
“Lenny is really hoping Nicole says yes – he just wants them to reconnect again as friends. And while he’s hoping that one day – if Nicole’s circumstances change – their friendship can become more once again, he’s also happy to go at Nicole’s pace.
“Proposing to Nicole all those years ago was one of the best things he ever did, and he hates himself for letting her slip away,” the insider reveals.
After his split from Nicole, Lenny has flitted from one relationship to another.
“While Lenny blames work, he told People magazine: “I would really like [to find love]. But it’s difficult for me, being so dedicated to my art, which is not an excuse, it’s just difficult.”
But it seems Lenny is now finally ready to put love first.
“I’m at a place now where I’ve been through so many relationships, and I haven’t been good at it all the time, at all. I’ve had a lot to learn, but I feel like I’m at a place where I’m really ready for that.
“Things come to you when you’re ready, I believe.”
Lenny has never shied away from expressing his lingering feelings for Nicole.
In 2017, he told Mr Porter: “Nicole is amazing. I have stayed friends with my exes, in most cases.”
He also said he was excited that his daughter Zoe was acting on set with Nicole. “Zoe and she hadn’t spent time together since she was younger, since Nicole and I were together, so that was great,” Lenny said.
Earlier that year, Nicole had let it slip that she was ‘secretly engaged’ to Lenny.
“I knew Zoe because I was engaged to her father. It’s all in the family!” she said. “I love Lenny, he’s a great guy.”
While Nicole’s marriage to Keith, with who she shares two daughters – Sunday Rose, 10, and Faith Margaret, 8 – is strong, it’s clear that the actress still holds a special place in Lenny’s life.
