WITH THREE TEAMS SET TO GO HEAD-TO-HEAD, THEY REVEAL ALL THE GOSS

LISA & ANDY: ‘OUR SURPRISE BABY JOY’

House Rules isn’t over just yet, but newlyweds Lisa and Andy are already making plans for life beyond the show. And it includes a baby!

“We definitely want a baby in the future,” says Lisa. “Probably in about three years. There’s a bit more I want to try out first in terms of my career.”

“I’m clucky now, though,” adds Andy.

“He is,” laughs Lisa. “But we want to give the best life to our baby, so we have to sort out our lives first.”

And when it comes to what’s next for their careers, Lisa says she’d love to stay in front of the camera. “I absolutely loved the House

Rules experience and being on the camera so I would love to work in the industry and do something in this field,” she says.

“So, I am keeping all options open and will see what happens.”

MAT’S BIG MOVE

While Mat is incredibly happy that the show gave his brother, Tim, a newly renovated home for his family, Mat reveals that if they win the prize, it’s his turn to move into a new house.

“It’s pretty evident I need my own place,” Mat laughs.

“I mean, Tim’s got his place, and it was nice doing up everyone’s house but I’d love to have my own. So first things first I would go and buy a house and then spend six months renovating it.

“Or maybe I’ll reapply next year for my place, who knows?”

Of course, before that happens, the brothers have to overcome the huge grand final challenge in front of them.

“The zones were massive, and it was very testing doing double the amount of work you normally would,” reveals Tim.

“In the grand final, you have to produce your best because if you leave something on the table, you could end up regretting it. I guess mentally it is tough trying to find that little bit of extra something we will need to beat the other guys.”

PETE & COURTNEY: ‘TIM & MAT ARE OUR BIGGEST THREAT’

They’ve certainly set tongues wagging for their competitive nature, and now Pete and Courtney are set to give it their all in the grand final challenge and take home the prize. But the couple admit that they are worried when it comes to chippie brothers Mat and Tim.

“The boys have always been great,” says Pete. “They have always had amazing work.”

Of course, they also admit that they can’t underestimate Lisa and Andy. “I think Lisa and Andy are gearing up at the right time,” Pete adds. “They are getting better when it counts, so it’s anyone’s game.”

But when it comes to their strategy, the couple reveal that they are just going to do what they have done from day one.

“We made it this far just being us and doing what we do, and it’s worked up until this point, so we are going to go in with a positive mindset and do what makes us Pete and Courts, and see what happens,” says Courtney.

“We always try and better our work and what we produce each week, so this week will be no different and we will make this the best work we’ve done in the whole competition.”
