Merry Christmas and welcome from Woolworths

- Claire Peters, Managing Director, Woolworths Supermarkets

This is such a special time of year, and for the last 15 years, we have been a proud partner of the Woolworths Carols in the Domain.

As The Fresh Food People, we understand how important the season is to our customers. From traditional roasts and perfect puddings, beautiful fresh mangoes, cherries and even a carrot being left out for the reindeers’ visit, our team is proud to have picked everything for you to make this a Christmas to remember.

Being part of every community across the country, we also understand that 2019 has presented a number of challenges.

From drought to floods and bushfires, we have witnessed Australians everywhere digging deep to show their support for communities in need. We’d like to take this opportunity to thank our customers for their generosity in joining us in supporting many of our valued community partners whose tireless work continues to help those impacted by disaster.

This Christmas, you can continue to play a role in supporting our partners. If you are at Woolworths Carols in the Domain, I encourage you to purchase a Salvos Candle Bag, as all funds raised will support the

The Salvation Army. In our stores and online, you can support the Ozharvest Christmas

Appeal. Simply add a 50 cent Ozharvest meal token to your shop to help feed

Australians in need. On behalf of the entire Woolworths team,

I would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas.
