I love the decorations. I love the whole tree in the house thing, fairy lights and tinsel everywhere!

I will be doing a lot of travelling. I will spend the first part of Christmas in the Australian heat and then return to America and celebrate with my family at Big Bear.

Do you have any Christmas traditions?

The traditions in our family involves me attempting to bake cookies on Christmas Eve – and not very well, unfortunately, as I seem to burn them more often than not! I hope Santa doesn’t mind too much.

What are you hoping Santa brings you this year?

I’m hoping Santa brings me a new Ducati, a speedboat, helps me build a big barn and fixes my damn fences, LOL! But in all honesty the best gift I can get will be watching my little boy lose his mind over Santa and his presents.

ANTHONY FIELD What do you love about Christmas?

I love the

‘feeling’ of Christmas. You can tell people are thinking of their family, friends or people not so fortunate. It’s a feeling of giving, caring and sharing.

What are you doing this Christmas?

This Christmas, like every Christmas, I will be celebrating with my family and friends the joy of the season. I will also be remembering my dear sister Maria, who passed away very recently to cancer. This will be our first Christmas without her.

What’s your favourite Christmas memory?

My best Christmas memory is when I dressed as Santa for our children. I even let them watch me put the Santa suit over my clothes. As soon as I became Santa, my daughter Maria (2 at the time), started shaking, crying and screaming. Well, the beard, the hat and the wig came off so quickly! At the time, very traumatic, but now we all laugh about it!

EMMA WATKINS What do you love about Christmas?

I love spending time with family and eating cherries and mangoes.

What are you doing this Christmas?

Christmas morning we will be visiting the Sydney Children’s hospital in Randwick. The Wiggles have been visiting the hospital for 20 years. We meet all the families, sing songs and bring gifts for the children.

What’s your favourite Christmas memory?

I loved when Nana made the biscuits and slices for after Christmas lunch. You would try to eat lunch as quickly as possible just to get to them. I remember the smell so well.

What are you hoping Santa brings you this year?

Lots of sunlight and yummy fresh food for everyone.

TODD MCKENNEY What do you love about Christmas?

Everything! The food, presents, watching the kids trying to guess what Santa is bringing them and, of course, Woolworths Carols in the Domain.

Do you have any Christmas traditions?

Yes, we have a ‘no presents’ rule, except for the kids. We just ask everybody to contribute to Christmas Day lunch and then there’s no stress, just fun family and friends.

What’s your favourite Christmas memory?

Buffet lunch at Ritz Resort on the Gold Coast with mum. It was so good and nobody had to wash up.

What are you hoping Santa brings you this year?

A jetski.

If you had one wish this Christmas, what would it be?

To get that jetski from Santa.

PENNY MCNAMEE What does Christmas mean to you?

Spending time with family and taking time to serve people in our community who are doing it tough.

What was your favourite Christmas memory?

Forcing my entire extended family to listen to me sing ‘All I Want for Christmas is My Two Front Teeth’. Every. Single. Year.

What are you hoping to find under the Christmas tree this year?

A few good books to read over the summer holidays!

Do you have any Carols memories?

At the end of Year 11, my group of school friends caught the train into the city to attend Woolworths Carols in the Domain for the first time! It was a magical night and I remember feeling very grown-up!

Each year my family watches Meet Me in St Louis and so my favourite carol is ‘Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas’ ... the Judy Garland version.
