THE DOCTOR’S BACK!

HUNKY RODGER CORSER IS RETURNING TO OUR SCREENS

-

Get ready to return to Whyhope as Season 4 of Doctor Doctor begins this week. But a lot has changed since we last visited the picturesque country town.

ONE YEAR HAS PASSED

It’s been 12 months and Dr Hugh Knight (Rodger Corser) has become accustomed to life with baby Eliza, who’s about to celebrate her first birthday. He’s come a long way in the time he’s been back in his hometown – responsible, mature, settled. But that could all be about to change.

THERE’S A NEW BAD DOCTOR IN TOWN

Mirroring the way Hugh returned to Whyhope, Dr Tara

Khourdair (Kate Jenkinson – see interview right) arrives at the hospital to serve out a probation period for her reckless behaviour. But it seems like she has no intention of cleaning up her act and, with Hugh assigned to supervise her, her bad-girl ways could just rub off on him. Will the reformed Hugh find the temptation of a kindred spirit too much to resist?

PENNY HAS MOVED ON

While her professional relationship with Hugh is moving full steam ahead, with the colleagues close to signing a deal for a cardiac unit for the hospital, Penny (Hayley Mcelhinney) has found herself a new boyfriend, mining company manager Jarrod (Dustin Clare), who is devoted to her and keen to take their relationship to the next level.

WHAT DOES CHARLIE WANT?

While Matt (Ryan Johnson) and April’s (Miranda Tapsell) relationship is going strong, the return of his estranged wife Charlie (Nicole da Silva) promises to thrown a spanner in the works. With her writing having taken off, Charlie claims to be passing through on a book tour, but does she have ulterior motives for coming back to Whyhope?
