RELATIONSHIP BOMBSHELL! MOVING ON!

IS THIS THE END FOR WILLOW AND ALEX?

-

If Willow (Sarah Roberts) ever harboured uncertainties about the depth of her feelings for Alex (Zoë Ventoura), almost losing the Summer Bay emergency doctor in the deadly hospital siege left her in no doubt about her love.

But just as the personal trainer is happily making plans for their future together, Alex drops a bombshell on her. And it’s potentially a relationship-breaking one!

“Willow has realised that Alex is the love of her life,” says Sarah. “When Alex was caught up in the siege, there was so much that Willow wanted to say to her. She was desperately hoping she was OK – and wanted nothing more than to tell her just how much she means to her.

“Unfortunately, it can sometimes take a lifechanging event to make people realise how they really feel,” adds Sarah. “The siege brought out a lot of honesty between Alex and Willow.”

However, unbeknown to Willow, Alex now takes a phone call that puts her world in a spin – the medico is offered a job in Queensland!

Later that evening, Alex meets her girlfriend for dinner. With the interstate opportunity weighing heavily on her mind, Alex decides to test the waters by casually telling Willow, who has lately been worried about her own job in the Bay, that any gym in the country would be fortunate to have her as a trainer.

Unaware of Alex’s potential move, Willow quickly shuts her down. Her loved ones are in the Bay, she says.

“Willow can’t imagine leaving her ‘family’, including Dean (Patrick O’connor), Colby (Tim Franklin) and Bella (Courtney Miller), and the life that she has set up for herself in the Bay,” reveals Sarah.

While Alex decides to keep her news to herself a little longer, she is soon made aware that the situation may be out of her control. While chatting the next morning with new mum Tori (Penny Mcnamee), whose ED role Alex has been covering while Tori is on maternity leave, Alex is clearly disappointed when Tori reveals her plan to return to work in the very near future.

Soon after, Alex decides she cannot delay the inevitable any longer. She tells a stunned Willow about her job offer in Queensland.

“Willow now finds herself at a huge crossroad,” says Sarah.

Stay tuned!

She’s drowning in heartbreak after losing her soulmate, Robbo (Jake Ryan). Now, for Jasmine (Sam Frost), putting one step in front of the other is simply all she can do.

“Jasmine is in this world of absolute grief and trauma right now,” says Sam. “She can’t see past it.”

This week, Jasmine is in her room at the Pier apartment when she overhears a heated argument breaking out between her housemates Colby and Bella.

Walking out of her room, Jasmine doesn’t mince her words as she gives the feuding siblings a stark wake-up call. At least they still have each other, she points out.

“It’s all just too much for Jasmine,” says Sam.

But when Colby later tries to comfort a tearful Jasmine, she reveals she has come to a decision. She simply cannot cope with living in the Pier apartment any longer – it reminds her too much of her beloved late husband. She is moving out.

“Being in the Pier apartment, where she lived with Robbo, is simply too much for Jasmine right now,” explains Sam. “Everywhere she looks, there are memories of him, and the pain is unbearable. She has to try to start her journey to heal.”

But where will Jasmine go?

It’s been weeks since muchloved Summer Bay resident Leah (Ada Nicodemou) vanished without a trace. And still there have been no leads in the investigation − until now!

In a must-see development, Leah’s friends Roo (Georgie Parker) and Maggie (Kestie Morassi) decide they can’t sit back and do nothing any longer. The two women are going to join forces and launch their own missing person search.

“Maggie and Roo look at each other and suddenly say: ‘What are we going to do about Leah going missing?’,” reveals Kestie. “There’s a moment when something just clicks in their minds and hearts and they go into gear. They decide they have to be proactive about this terrible situation.

“The police seem to have exhausted all of their leads and Maggie and Roo feel they know Leah better than the police, so they feel they simply have to do their own detective work.”

Before long, Maggie and Roo have a lead – but it’s a truly baffling one!
