Tension over a wedding guest list can cause havoc for any family – but for the Beckhams, the stakes are a little higher than most. As David and Victoria plot a star-studded wedding for their eldest son Brooklyn – who announced his engagement to American heiress Nicola Peltz in July – we’re told the family are butting heads over which members of the British monarchy to invite.

At the top of the bride and groom’s invitee priorities are Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. Brooklyn, 21, knows the Duke of Sussex through his dad, while Nicola, 25, is starstruck by the idea of having the duchess at her nuptials.

“She’s a real go-getter, that Nicola,” dishes an insider. “She’s very keen to move to LA permanently and become besties with the Sussexes.”

But the young couple’s grand plan has hit a brick wall due to the growing rift between Posh and Becks and the Sussexes.

The foursome used to be quite close, with David, 45, and Victoria, 46, attending Harry and Meghan’s own wedding back in 2018.
