“JULIA IS COLD AND HEARTLESS. DANNY’S FAMILY DON’T LIKE HER”

15-year-old twins Hazel and Phinnaeus, and son Henry, 13.

John claims he was told by various Moder family members that Julia put immense pressure on Vera to sign the divorce papers and return to Argentina. At the time, there were suggestions Vera had been paid off about $200,000 and she admitted, “Julia has been desperate to get [Danny] down the aisle, and she’s got her wish.

I never wanted to lose him, but I’ve given up now.”

Julia was also seen out and about wearing a homemade

T-shirt that read, “A Low Vera”, which many believed was a dig at Vera. Julia defended the shady slogan saying, “I stand by my shirt.”

Calling Julia “cold” and “heartless”, John snipes that the extended Moder family, “walk on eggshells around her. They don’t like her, but they’re so paranoid to be excommunicated”.

Previously, Danny’s sister, Jyl Moder, also suggested that Julia was responsible for his marriage breakdown to Vera. In 2019, experts from a diary Jyl reportedly kept during a rehab stint were published. In it, she called her “condescending” sister-in-law a “diva” who was “rude” and “possessive of Danny”.

“If you don’t show up on time for an appointment with Julia, or dare to feed the kids anything with gluten in it, then you’re in for it,” adds John. “Her sister-in-law Jane is a co-founder and headmistress at Seven Arrows School in Pacific Palisades, where Julia sent her kids.

“She paid $10,000 for her own personal parking spot, she’d be allowed to let her kids have special food, she wanted her kids to be treated like celebrities, and if Jane didn’t enable this, it would piss Julia off, who was paying a huge amount of money each year for them to be there.”

In fact, Jane often worked off campus, claims John, so that Julia, “couldn’t visit or call her. So what happened when Julia found out? She and her husband, Phil, got cut off, as Julia felt that Jane wasn’t doing what she wanted.”

“There’s not a day that goes by that I don’t wish Richie had his life together and was still in the band,” he said. “In a weird way, it’s because of his inability to get it together anymore that we went on and wrote [2016 album] This House Is Not For Sale.”

His comments did not fly with Richie, 61, who recently insisted via a source to People magazine that he left the band after three decades to take care of his daughter Ava, 23, who he shares with troubled actress Heather Locklear.

“Richie sacrificed a lot to be there for his daughter when she was still very young and needed him the most, and he’s

“THERE WAS HOPE THEY MIGHT BURY THE HATCHET, BUT THERE’S NO CHANCE OF THAT NOW!”

so proud to see how she’s doing now,” says the source. “It was the right decision to step off the stage to be a fulltime father. At the end, he was suffering being on the road so much. Richie has no regrets
