INSTRUCTIONS

STEP 1 Using a ruler and pencil, divide paper into strips to the below measurements: LARGE BOW

Centre = 1 x 5cm long x 2cm wide strip

Layer two = 1 x 30cm long x 2cm wide strip

Layer three = 3 x 20cm long x 2cm wide strips

Layer four = 3 x 25cm long x 2cm wide strips

Layer five = 4 x 30cm long x 2cm wide strips

SMALL BOW

Centre = 1 x 5cm long x 2cm wide strip

Layer two = 1 x 30cm long x 2cm wide strip

Layer three = 3 x 20cm long x 2cm wide strips

Layer four = 3 x 25cm long x 2cm wide strips

STEP 2 Starting from the base layer and working up, take a strip of paper and circle one end back on itself to create a loop finishing in the centre. Hold that loop in place while repeating the same movement on the other so you have a figure-of-eight shape with your paper.

STEP 3 You can play with the paper until you are happy with the shape and then use 74 a small dab of hot glue to hold the ends in place.

STEP 4 Repeat this process until all the strips of paper are in a figure-of-eight shape.

STEP 5 Lastly, take the strip of paper for the centre piece and loop it on itself to create the middle of your bow. Again, use hot glue to hold in place.

STEP 6 It’s time to assemble your bow! Starting with the bottom layer, position the paper pieces on top of each other to form the start of your bow. When you’re happy with positioning, use hot glue to hold in place.

STEP 7 Repeat this process of gluing each layer of paper into the centre of the bow, finishing it off with the centre strip. Your bow is now complete! Attach to presents with a small strip of double-sided tape.
