ELLA AND ALEXANDER ARE TWO VERY PAMPERED KIDS!
George and Amal Clooney’s twins, Ella and Alexander, don’t have just one place they call home – they currently have eight!
The little “knuckleheads”, as George calls them, turn 5 in June. And while their famous father grew up in a middle-class neighbourhood in Kentucky, USA, Ella and Alexander live like royalty. With so many places to hang their hats, they’d have a hard time trying to decide where to display a ‘Home sweet home’ sign.
“The twins have so many houses, they get confused,” tells a source. “When their mum or dad says, ‘We are going to the
French house,’ they ask, ‘Is that one with trees that have olives hanging on them? Or the one with a river?’”
It’s easy for Alexander and Ella to get confused, given their parents have an extensive property portfolio.
Indeed George, 60, and Amal, 44, own a sprawling estate in California, four properties in Italy (including the largest, the nine-bedroom Lake Como villa), another nine-bedroom home on the Thames River in England and an 18th-century mansion in Provence, France. They are also the proud owners of a multimillion-dollar apartment in Manhattan.
“In order to make sure the kiddies are always surrounded by something personal and familiar, George and Amal often have to buy three of everything so some of their favourite toys and clothing can be found at more than one house,” shares the source.
When George first arrived in LA as an aspiring actor, he lived from pay cheque to pay cheque. He feared his career would suddenly end abruptly

and he’d be left broke.
But now, with his homes worth a whopping $200 million combined, plus the sale of his tequila business for over $1 billion as well as his and Amal’s combined worth of about $735 million, “he no longer has anything to worry about”.
