The M120 V12 Mercedes utilized in the SL600 went on to power the first Pagani Zonda, so by rights, owners of the 600 can claim hypercar provenance. If you can find a good car with a comprehensive history, pay what you can for it, as I believe these modern classics offer a superb opportunity to join the V12 club without paying Ferrari or Lamborghini price tags, and they will eventually be one of the most exclusive cars to own.
