New Zealand Classic Car

INVESTMENT POTENTIAL

-

While a big old V12 coupé mightn’t seem much of an investment, smile per mile is pretty high in any old SL, let alone one with that big, purring V12 beast under the bonnet. The M120 V12 Mercedes utilized in the SL600 went on to power the first Pagani Zonda, so by rights, owners of the 600 can claim hypercar provenance. If you can find a good car with a comprehensive history, pay what you can for it, as I believe these modern classics offer a superb opportunity to join the V12 club without paying Ferrari or Lamborghini price tags, and they will eventually be one of the most exclusive cars to own. Of course, it will pay to make sure you’re paying into a high-yield savings account to cover those potentially marriagewrecking maintenance costs.
