1967 FORD MUSTANG FAST BACK

-

This clean, rust-free example of the highly desirable ’67 Fastback has been kitted out in GTA livery and has the personalized plate to match. The Mustang has been well cared for and has a perfectly purring 351 Cleveland transplanted under the hood. With near-new tyres on Torq Thrusts, this Mustang is certainly one of the good ones.

It has recently been locked away safely in an underground garage, with an occasional outing for a drive around some of Northland’s best roads, where it hasn’t skipped a beat. The owner tells us, “Driving the Mustang brings the joy of driving rushing back and getting it out onto the open road, where it belongs, is one of life’s great joys. I’ll be sad to see the Mustang go, but a growing family means it’s time to sell up the toys and hunker down for a few years.”

With the recent discovery of one of the ’68 Fastbacks used in the Mustang’s ultimate ad, Bullitt, we in the office have decided that this is an amazing opportunity for an astute buyer to wrap this Mustang in a matt green finish and then put on their Persol sunnies to capture a bit of that Steve Mcqueen spirit.

The ’67 Fastback is acknowledged by Mustang purists as a safe investment. Though this is not a numbers-matching car, the addition of plenty of power via the Cleveland unit was not an accident and simply adds to the ongoing desirability and driveability of this soughtafter classic.

With an asking price of $65K, we think this is a superb opportunity to tick an item off your bucket list.
