Before we at Star Insurance started insuring classic cars, we were surprised at how existing insurance policies treated owners of these precious vehicles like all other road users, without considering what a classic car owner wanted in a policy. We know, because we were classic car owners, too.

So, we decided to design insurance policies that included exactly what we wanted for our own vehicles. This philosophy backs every insurance policy we write for our customers. Our portfolio of classic cars covered has grown every week since we started. And if the unfortunate ever happens, you’ll be working with our own team of assessors who are all owners and just as passionate about classic cars as you are. Our premiums are based on limited use, but we wouldn’t dream of telling you when and how often you can drive. That’s because we know that classic car owners simply don’t want to use their classics as daily drivers anyway. So you won’t find us trying to limit your driving experience to specific days or kilometre allowances, especially if a perfect sunny Sunday sees you heading for the far horizons.
