1955 Mercury M100

This 1955 Mercury M100 is an extremely rare Canadian-built luxury version of the well-known Ford F100. A complete body-off restoration was completed in Canada in 1999, with many rebuild pictures, importation information, and photos, along with the workshop manual and Alberta reg. plate. The truck was stored and has travelled less than 3000 miles since.

I purchased the truck in March 2018, and the engine has subsequently been totally rebuilt by Engine Specialties Ltd. It has also had a gearbox overhaul — with receipts for nearly $10K — and has travelled under 250 miles since.

Numerous new parts have been fitted recently, including engine mounts, a rear bumper and mounting kit, front and rear leaf-spring shackle bearing/bolts, a steering drag link, and bear-claw door latches. Aluminium monogrammed step plates were sourced and fitted, along with a storage box fitted behind the cab, which can be easily removed. The hubcaps were re-chromed — receipt for over $1K — and logos painted in matching red.

Complete original radio is fitted but does not work; there is loads of underdash space to fit a hidden modern stereo.

Finished in stunning original red and white paintwork. The door signs are only stickers, so easily removed.

Truck starts and drives extremely well, and turns heads everywhere it goes.
