Lighting of the Hastings St Christmas Tree
When: From December 1, 2017 The Hastings St Christmas Tree on the roundabout near the Noosa Surf Club is a bright welcome to all visitors to Noosa during the holiday season so make sure you head along to have your photo taken under the tree.

When: December 9, 2017
Where: Eumundi Amphitheatre, 67 Memorial Drive, 6.30-9pm
Bring your chairs and picnic dinner or buy a burger and drink from the Eumundi Rotary stall. There will also be a glowies stall, performers and special guests Poppy and Branch from the Trolls movie, Elsa and Anna from Frozen and, of course, a visit from Santa.

Where: Memorial Park, Memorial Ave, Tewantin, 4-8pm
The annual Tewantin Christmas Carnival is a free event with fun for everyone - Christmas carols, music, rides, food, a petting zoo, fireworks and more.

Where: Peregian Beach Park, Kingfisher Drive, 5-10pm
The 53rd annual Peregian Beach Christmas Carols will be a great way to celebrate the Christmas season with music, fun, food and a visit from Santa.

New Year’s Eve fireworks and laser light shows (plus live music) at the Noosa Marina, 9pm and midnight. Fireworks and family-friendly fun at Main Beach, 9pm Noosa River Fire has fireworks on the Noosa River at Noosaville at 9pm with live music

The major Australia Day celebrations in the Noosa region are at Lions Park, Gympie Tce, Noosaville, with entertainment and fun for everyone from 7am-2pm. Sit under the shade of tree in the park or under a marquee with theNoosa River as a backdrop.
■ The fun and festivities in Eumundi are around Caplick Park, Memorial Drive, with Australia Day awards and plenty of Aussie food and fun.

Join Olympian Michael Klim and special guests for a huge weekend of sun, surf and swims at the Noosa Summer Swim, a must-do event for any keen ocean swimmer or beginner, with a full weekend of events and a range of distances for every ability.
