Kin Kin is a small town renowned for its great food, art and scenery. Visit a friendly country pub or step out on the Noosa Trail Network, a series of tracks and trails over mixed terrain for walkers, and horse and mountain bike riders that starts in Kin Kin.

Broadcroft Design: A creative metalwork business, specialisi­ng in Corten landscape features, planters and garden art. Designs can be seen at The Croft Garden Gallery, 61 Gympie Kin Kin Rd, Kin Kin, every Wednesday and the first Sunday of the month, 9am-2pm. Phone 5485 4420.

Broadmeado­ws Farm: An alpaca stud where you can learn how to hand spin yarns from raw fleece, have a chat about farming alpacas, tour the farm, join the activities of the day, farmstay available. 491 Wahpunga Lane, Kin Kin. Open Saturday and Sunday, 12-5pm. By appointmen­t weekdays. Phone 5485 4143 or 0404 470 490.

Cooloola berries: Pick your own, handcrafte­d ice-cream, farm gate cafe and fresh fruit sales. We grow strawberri­es (winter) and blueberrie­s (summer). Come and enjoy the experience of picking sweet, ripe, delicious fruit. Our farm gate cafe has barista coffee, light lunches and a dessert menu. Visit Sunday for Paella in the Paddock with live music every week 1-4pm. Open daily 8am 5pm. Phone 5486 7512.

Country Life Hotel: This is a warm friendly country pub that reflects a simpler time. It’s all about relaxation, a good yarn and laughter, home cooked meals and a cold beer. Bistro open Monday to Saturday: Lunch 11.30am-2.30pm, Dinner: 6pm-8.30pm, Sunday lunch: 11.30am-3pm. Phone 5485 4103.

General Store: The Kin Kin Country General Store is so much more than just a store, home to a cafe, post office, restaurant, farm shop and catering services. The General Store stocks locally-produced ethical products, including Black Ant Gourmet Food, free range locally grown meats and organic coffee. Open 7am– 5pm Monday to Thursday, Friday 7am–9pm, Saturday 7am–5pm, Sunday 7am–3pm. Friday night is gourmet pizza night, Saturday is theme nights.
